The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has formally opened the 2025 application procedure.

Applications are now open and may shut on fifteen December 2024.

*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding

To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant must fulfill the following criteria:

• Be considered a South African citizen or copyright who originates from a home that has a combined gross house income that doesn't exceed R350 000 for each annum.

The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open to all South African citizens and permanent residents from households with nsfas status combined R350 000 and R600 000 for every annum.
